New preinstalled laptops first do it
Windows setup tries to force a Microsoft account.
But there’s a hidden command that skips it.
During setup press:
Shift + F10
Then run:
start ms-cxh://localonly
The installer immediately refreshes and unlocks the option to create a local offline account.
Steps:
* Continue setup normally
* Do NOT connect to WiFi
* Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt
* Run the command above
Windows will switch to the local account creation screen.
You can then:
* create a username
* set a password
* complete setup fully offline
No Microsoft login
No internet required
Just a local Windows account
